Going Back in Time: May 2012: Memorial Day

Trying to get caught up here before school starts ... in just over a week!!!! Yikes.  It's been a long, rough, unexpected summer. I've been doing a lot of reflecting. I've been doing a lot of connecting.  I've probably done a lot of over thinking .. but for right now it's time for some happy remembering.

Flashback: Memorial Day

We started out moving a bunch of hostas from the bottom of our back porch steps.  George replanted them on the edge of the yard and Lillie HAD to help.  She especially enjoyed watering the plants all by herself ... until Liam showed up and then she went running to see him.

We celebrated a few late May/ early June birthdays.  The cupcakes were a huge hit!

Then we all piled into the cars and drove to the center of town for the parade.  We ran into a few friends and saw Pop Pop march with the boy scouts (Lil wasn't quite sure what to make of him in uniform and surrounded by so many people.)

Then we ended the day with more cupcakes and fun time with family.
