Topsfield Fair: take 2

One trip to the fair just wasn't enough for the Pacenka's this year. When Ryan and Jen asked if we wanted to go we didn't hesitate to say yes.  This time it was significantly warmer and more crowded but it was still a ton of fun (as always). It was a good chance to do all the things we missed on the first trip (and get a taste of our favorite foods that we missed the first time).

Lillie LOVES her ba-bas.

While we were wrapping up with dinner the lights in the picnic table area went out.  We tried to get in touch with George's dad (Pop pop) because he was working with the electric crew but he didn't answer his phone.  It wasn't until we headed out of that area that we realized the outage was even more extensive then we thought. There were many barns and food vendors with no power.  Then we looked to the sky and saw a lone person high above the crowds in the bucket of the electric truck.  A little bit later when the lights finally came back on it was nice to hear the cheer of thanks from the crowds knowing that pop pop was the one in the bucket.

Meeting the goats now that the lights were back on.
