Names are hard! Especially girls names. We were all set with a boy's name but have had quite a time trying to find a good name for our little girl. You have to keep in mind possible nicknames, initials/ monograms, a name that will fit a little child but also grow and be appropriate on a resume. You can't help but think of all the people you've ever known of who have that name. We've made lists and vetoed names. We've added the vetoed names back to the list. We've started the list all over again (a few times).
Baby P is still refered to as Baby P, except of course when she is known as Cuz P to little Liam. She also has a little nickname. It started as a joke months ago during one of our long and drawn out name picking sessions and it just stuck. While plugging in the computer to do a search online it let off a little spark and in a flash of brilliant slap-happiness the name Sparkey was born. Then when we found out that Baby P was a girl the name Sparkle was added as a nickname to the nickname. There have been a few variations over the past few months and we're still working on finding a good 'real' name but for now it all comes back to Sparkey.
