Standing (pt 2)

She's definitely standing now and it's actually a little scary.  Over the weekend she started letting go of things on her own (as opposed to us holding her by the waist and letting go like we were doing before.)  It was exctiting when she could pull herself up to a standing position and hold on to things, it was exciting when she could stand for a second or 2 on her own, and now it's overwhelming to see her standing of her own free will .... albeit still for fairly short periods of time.

It's so surreal to see her standing there all by herself.  She looks like a totally different kid.  When did that happen???  So excited to see her growing up but she can stay tiny for just a little bit longer.  We're treasuring each little moment while we can.  Today I took the day off of work to take mom to the airport and Megs to the train.  Then I spent the afternoon playing with Lillie.  Wow, that baby laugh and full on giggle could rival any medicine on the planet for making a person feel like a million bucks.  It's a shame we can't bottle that up and save some for later.
