.... sounds like a great date night doesn't it?
It was but not in the traditional sense. We've taken to having music on in the background these days and Lillie will occasionally stop everything and just dance around to it. Tonight at dinner we were listening to a little 80's when Material Girl came on and Lillie started bobbing her head from side to side, of course George and I joined in and suddenly ... instant family dance party. She fluctuated between dancing herself and laughing at mama and dada. We couldn't help but laughing ourselves. It's amazing how many times we catch ourselves being silly and goofy with her and absolutely loving it. The blessings just keep coming.
And the cherry on top ... George went out rock climbing tonight and just came home with ice cream. Yummy! Off to have a little dessert!
