Thanksgiving 2010

We had a wonderful time visiting family and friends in VA for Thanksgiving this year. It was an amazingly short whirlwind trip but we packed in a ton of stuff. We've started to stop midway to spend the night on our way down.  It makes for much shorter driving days and allows us to be more rested. It also ensures that we are able to keep Lillie somewhat close to her normal stretch and sleep schedule.  We found a great place outside of Philly and I wouldn't be surprised if we stop there again.

Our fancy kitchen.

Our little friend ... he showed up everytime we opened the door that morning.

We arrived late morning/early afternoon and Nana had laid out a special Thanksgiving outfit for Lillie so we got her changed and worked on dinner.

The rest of our time was spent visiting with Lucy & her parents, setting up the Christmas tree & train, and visiting the Newseum.

Lillie especially enjoyed watching Grandpa Callahan's train running under the tree!
