6 months

New things: Josie has done so much this month. She has started to roll over from her front to her back and back to front like it's nobody's business. At first she was stealthy about it but now it's just constant. We have to be careful where we leave her because she might just keep on rolling to the other end of the room. She still loves the jumper and standing, she loves to be upright. She figured out how to sit up all by herself about 2 weeks ago and didn't even need to tripod, she just sits. Sadly she did have her first major cold/ illness... croup and double pink eye. Poor baby, but she handled it like a champ and smiled through the whole thing.

Talking/signs: We started using a few signs with her just to get her used to them but don't expect them to mean anything at all anytime soon. She still has very distinct sounds, happy, giggly, cranky, waking up, more food now, and really unhappy.

Teeth: 1: We drove down to my mom's house for the weekend before Veteran's Day and she screamed the whole way home. It was awful because I couldn't do anything for her while driving and actually had to stop to calm her down. Low and behold, we get home that night and there is the shiny new whiteness of an actual tooth. (Still undocumented because her tongue is covering it in every picture attempted.)

Sleeping:   With all the pain of the tooth coming in and learning to roll over sleep has still been a little off. Lots of little naps during the day, at least one longer one, and down to sleep for the night around 10:30 with a wake up around 4:00. Last night she slept for 8 hours though. I don't expect that every night but it sure would be nice if it happened every now and then.

Eating/
Drinking: Still mostly milk at least 3 bottles a day and nursing when possible. The big news is solid food. She loves it, inhales it, must have more of it.  She's had rice cereal, oatmeal, apples, sweet potatoes, and pears.

Height/Weight: 15 lbs 8 oz, 27 inches long. (Tba but we anticipate her still being long, size 6 mos clothes are not going  to

be with us much longer because of leg length.)
